The Bolling Family Group 5 mailing list operates similar to a Rootsweb List. You are welcome to post questions or discussions about Bolling (any spelling) and related surnames. An E-Mail message addressed to BollingReasearch@bolling5.com is distributed to all who are subscribed. Additionally, all messages are stored in the mailing list public archive, which may be shared with all Bolling5.com visitors. Also, the archive pages are crawled and indexed in search engines, which enables other researchers to find us and share their information with us. In the archives, your email address is normally shown in an obscured fashion (member at internetprovider.com) to thwart spam harvesters. If you prefer, you may contact us to request a Bolling5.com e-mail address to use for the mailing list and other Bolling Group 5 communications. A Bolling5.com e-mail address simply forwards mail to your regular e-mail address, and may be cancelled at any time. If you wish to receive one e-mail containing all discussions for the day, instead of every message individually as they are posted, please choose the Digest Mode. You may subscribe or unsubscribe anytime you wish. Please Note: To post or receive messages on this list, you MUST be subscribed. Using BollingResearch
To post a message to all the list members, send email to bollingresearch@bolling5.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to BollingResearch
Subscribe to BollingResearch by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
