Hello, Arvina!  How do you connect to this family?

Here's what I have on the lady whom Phillip Roberts and I call Granny Ann:

Lee Co. death records: Ann Bowlin, 104 y 4 m, d. 27 Nov. 1853, b. Lee
Co., VA; consort of William Bowlin; Francis Wood, son-in-law, informant.
So Ann was born in July 1849.  Her husband William was likely born in
the 1740s and died between 1810 and 1820.

Phillip and I inferred that William & Ann had (at least) two sons and
a daughter:
(1) William b. 1770s, d. after 1830, married possibly Mary UNKNOWN,
     had at least 4 sons.
(2) John b. 1780s, d. after 1820, married possibly Martha UNKNOWN,
     likely had sons William (b. 1821-22) & John (b. ~1825).
(3) Nancy (1796-1882), m. Francis Woods (1792-1882).

Here are some of the censuses, Lee Co., Virginia, BO*L*N* [this is how
we write various spellings Bolen, Bowlin, Bowling, etc.):
--
1820:  households of John and William Boling.
William: males 2 <10 (b. 1810-1820), 1 10-16, 1 16-18, 1 18-26, 1 26-45
  (William); females 1 26-45. The older males could be hired hands or
  younger brothers.
John: males 2 <10 (b. 1810-1820), 1 26-45 (John); females 1 26-45, 1 >45
  (born before 1775, might be Ann).
John & William (both age 26-45, born 1775-1794) could be sons of
William & Ann.

1830: no adult male BO*L*N*s.  Ann Boling head of household & presumably
age 70-80 (b. 1750-60) with 1 F 30-40 (Mary?), 1 F 20-30 (Martha?),
1 M 5-10 (William), 1 M <5 (John).

1840: William Bowling head of household, age 15-20. With 1 F 80-90
(Ann?), 1 F 40-50 (Mary?), 1 F 30-40 (Martha?), 1 M 10-15 (John)?.
--
1850:
Bowling, John 25, farming; Martha 45, Mary 60, Ann 100; all born Va.
Bowlin, William 28, laborer; Cynthia 25, Hiram 9, Rebecca A. 7, David 5,
   Elizabeth 5/12.

Hiram b. ~1840 is my ancestor.
