That's very interesting, Mike.  Ernie Perry descends from this Napier line through James Napier of Clay Co., KY; and I descend from Robert Napier and Mary Perrin by their daughter Frances Napier who married Benjamin Woodson.  Looks like at least the 3 of us are Napier cousins.  I think that you and Ernie have a common ancestor through the Bollings somehow, but yours and my Bolling ancestors aren't related - at least by the Y-chromosome way.  Maybe one of these days, we'll find the missing pieces of the puzzle!

  This is very interesting!  I'm also a descendant of those same Royalls and Napiers.  My line runs from Katherine Banks Royall and Joseph Royall down to Katherine Royall md. Richard Perrin, to Mary Perrin md. Robert Napier, to Booth Napier md. Sarah Unknown (to me).


  Surely this must point to something given we are all Bolling descendants too.  (As for me, from John Bolin/Bolling of the Little River, Montgomery Co., NC).
