Andrew Warnock is the father of Lucretia Warnock who marries into Hazael's line....Lucretia marries John T.[Porter] Bolding who is the brother of my Andrew P. Bolding both of Franklin Co. Ala. and later John T. Bolding is in Itawamba or Tishimingo[1850-60] [can't remember which] Miss. and eventually moves to Texas Corn Hill Texas. His letters back to my family are posted at our website...and he is the ancestor of JoAnn Niedecken.

There is also a Weatherby - Warnock connection of a relatiave of Doris'....but I don't think she has a Warnock in her direct line. BUT...SHE CAN TELL US!

I just sent to Hazael and Doris some research by Linda Sparks Starr [who also researches Christopher Clark] an interesting article on Thomas and William Orr mentioning Doris' Warnocks and Hazael's Pickens at this website which ties to the following folks then in Pendleton Dist., SC around Twenty-Three Mile Creek:

Go here: http://www.rowberry.org/rickhsite/orrh2.htm

The above info ties with something I sent back in 2009 which I had forgotten. See below:

Hazael --
Notice the William McMurry in the citation you sent below and this one in
Doris' line of Warnocks on 23-Mile Creek in Pendleton Co., SC.

I'm not so sure about the Hoges -- could be Hoage as well as Hodge. Need
to find Welcome William Hodges descendants; I don't think this is Edmund
Hodges' lines.

Ernie and all,

I am going to add a couple of Greenville & Pendleton SC Deeds to this
send from Ernie. It shows a connection between my James Bolling & Hodges and
possibly Peggs [are they same as Piggs? I don't know!] Hazael

Pendleton Dist. SC Deed Book O & P by Dr. Pruitt:

[Hazael's remarks in yellow highlight.]

#3761. Jan. 7, 1807 Jacob Phillips [Buncome Co. NC} to James Boling
{Greenville Dist., SC] ; for 4216 [I don't understand this figure - surely not
$!] sold 216 ac [reference to grants for metes & bounds]; being 2
adjoining grants : [a] 190 ac on a branch of Twenty-three mile Cr. waters of
Savannah R., issued June. 5, 1786 by Gov. William "Moultry" to William Hoges
recorded in grant book 4 K and sold by W. Hoges to Jacob Phillips
[recorded in Pendlton Dist. book 5 p. 8] & [b] 26 ac issued Jan. 7, 1793 by Gov.
William "Moultree" to Jacob Phillipss recorded in grant book 5 F.[signed]
Jacob Phillips; [witness] William Mc Murry, Benjamin Smith , & Robert
Pickens; wit. oath Jan. 7, 1807 by Robert Pickens before John Willson QU; Oct.
4, 1819 recorded & examined by Joseph Grisham, D. clerk; book O, p. 435.

I only found this deed recently. I am nearly positive that he is my
James Bolling m. Anne Pickens who in 1810 census 3 years after this lives
adjacent to the below deed of William Parris wife Darcus Pickens. The men
were married to sisters. NOTE: He clearly says James Bolling is of
Greenville Dist. SC in 1807 so in 1800 census he should be in either
Washington or in Greenville [Washington going back & forth with Greenville.] AND
it is my belief that in 1820 John Bolding is living on this same land near
Robert Pickens.

They are too near the same ages to be father & son...so I think he is
Doris' John Bolding the brother.]

So where is my James in 1820? I just do not know.

#4646. Nov. 13, 1820 William Parris [Paris] to John Pegg [Pendleton
Dist.] for $480 sold 150 ac on a branch of Twenty-three mile Cr. waters of
Savana R.; border begins at a white oak and runs down middle stream of the
branch; part of 500 ac granted in 185 [?1805?]to Wm. Boyse [signed] William
Paris; [witness] J.A. Easley & Wm. Pegg; dower renounced Feb. 10, 1821 by
Darcus Parris, wife of William [and daughter of Robert Pickens - sister to
wife of my James Bolding] before Henry Cobb JQ[signed] Darcus Parris' mark "X"
; wit. oath Jan. 26, 1821 by William Pegg before Nathl. Adams JP; Mar. 26,
1822 recorded & examined by John T. Lewis; cc & RMC; book P, p 443.

#44647. Oct. 12, 1821 Joseph Leech [Pendleton Dist.] to John Smith
[same]; for $300 sold 140 ac. by computation on waters of Twenty-three mile Cr.'
border; joined on W. by John Oldham [seePritchett's discussion regarding
the Mary Oldham or Mary Tarpley wife of ? ?] , on N by Z[achary] Tallifero
& John Pegg, on E by Simeon Smith, on S. by Anderson [no more description].
[signed] Joseph Leech; [witness] John Bolding & Martha Leech; wit. oath
Feb. 5, 1822 by John Bolding & J. Douthit QU; Mar. 26, 1822 recorded &
examined by John T. Lewis, cc & RMC, book P. p. 433.

[Hazael's comment: from the 1820 census you can figure out that this John
Bolding was living near to my Robert Pickens and I believe him to be
Doris' ancestor the John Bolding brother to my James. I am thinking she has
confirmed this from the ages of the children listed.] My James is no
longer living there in that census.] Don't know for sure where he is.]

Soon I will send the deeds that show that part of this land of Wm. Hoges
is owned by Martin Hewlett whose wife is Jane Moseley who was daughter of
Mosely who married Martha Hodges.] So I assume Hoges is same name as
Hodges.] Also Martin Hewlett lived in 1800 census near to Greens, Pleasant &
Thomas Easley, John Bowlen & Obadiah Bowlen & the Ayers folks - Wm. &
Joseph Ayers, also Hugh Roark. I personally think this was perhaps
Washington Dist. at the time. Not positive about that. Seems like I read it
someplace. Remember Roarks connect to Joe. & Valentine Haley Bolling.
